    A war cry.

I pant, I hanker -

    salivating for some salad.

“Save the Cilantro,”

    their posters will say, for

    I demolished some greens today;

    killing folks like cilantro

    along the way...

Life and death

    do a jig for the

    soul of

    cilantro.

My finger bulldozed

    a caterpillar

    while planting and weeding

    a garden for eating
    {he got in the way};

    harvesting life

    from a burial site.

Guts stuck in

    my claw -

    Caterpillar, a

    casualty of war.
